Sorry folks for not seeing me play the "solo". I just didnt want to bother with the whole recording process again over arguably the simplest part of the song. If u dont believe its me playing the solo psrt, just listen carefully and notice how some notes are different from the original.

Since most online tabs dont have the solo in it, I'll gladly provide the notes in the video description if wanted.

You know, here's what I love about your method of playing. How you practice. You pick only the stuff you love. It's not easy, and you are actually "feeling" the music. Any suggestions for those of us who have problems with using our pinky finger when trying to bridge on such a narrow neck as the strat? At my age, my fingers have become fatter (due to my epilepsy) and I still want to play. Wrists hurt after a while too (work as an IT Specialist...so Carpul Tunnel most likely).

Lol I appreciate the compliment about me trying to feel the music =D As far as wrist and pinky pain goes, I had to go through a lot of that while learning this and other incubus songs too. Its mainly because the chord pattern feels unusual and keeps repeating throughout the song. It gradually decreases and eventually goes away with practice as you build stamina. Thicker fingers shouldnt stop u from playing the songs u love yo =)

haha thanks man I really do appreciate the kind words. I've been playing for nearly 3 years now. If you play songs you like, practice really becomes a lot more fun. Try learning some songs you REALLY love and you'll automatically practice harder =)

pretty good man. but theres some double-stop bends you're missing, and some minor mistakes in the rhythm...but no big deal, still sounds pretty good, but learning the real techniques will help your guitar playing a lot. Get the offical guitar book to the "morning view" album, theres a lot of cool things in there.
