Stuck in Vermont 61: VT Fancy Felines

1/5/08: Once a year, VT Fancy Felines cat show takes over the Sheraton in South Burlington and cats of many breeds compete for ribbons and titles.

Why do attendees love their cats so much? Spending hours brushing and grooming them, breeding them over and over again in search of the perfect cat and traveling all over the country to compete?

Cat lovers give us a peek into their world.

Yeah Cat's are pretty cool, sept for the litter box thing.

I use to have 8 cat's, four Boys, for Girls.

We didnt get the boys fixed in time and were left with 30 cats in the house with the 8 original and 22 Kittens.

That was a bitch, and why I HATE(!)Litter boxes now cause I was the only once who could clean up after the cats.

Allso Was that Goma again?

30 cats!?!? Wow, that is too much! The woman with 40 cats paid someone to come and help clean the litter regularly! ;)

Yes and no. That was Goma's mom Sachie and GOma's breeder Suzette. The cat is named Dolly and she is no relation of Goma but comes from the same breeder! Phew!

Four I no longer have them, they all got homes and six the grownup cat's died over the last few years and I bet the other two arnt doing much better, Ones somewhere in my home town and the other is in FL last I checked.

Five, Was not blaming the cats.

Two The only reason we have to "Controll The Pet population" is cause we have taken everything over and I wouldnt like it too much if some one took the tips of my fingers and my balls off with out my say so.

Three I did clean them regularly, 30 cat's = lots a shi% .

It is not the cat's fault if you are irresponsible and end up with 30 cats. I used to be like that. rule no. l-get your cats fixed. rule no. 2 clean the litter boxes regularly. burn incense. I do. Love my cats, all three fixed.

my friend has a cat; it' s ok, but when it shits it stinks up the place! not to mention furballs, little black fleas falling off jumping up and around the carpet, also, she put a grid on the windows so it doesn' t fall out; yea fallout!! no to mention the dang, she gotta keep the heater on when she goes away for the dang cat!! and we gotta take the dang cat with us when we go for long weekend.
