many of the comments here display the ignorance that is often inherited with privilege. The reality is that thanks to slavery, "White Americans" have a 200 year head start. This equates to about 6+ generations in the average american family. Continued insistence that "laziness" is at the root of all inequities is the equivalent of a pinch-runner taking credit for the at bat of the hitter he replaces.

No Problemo! All the blacks have to do is refrain from having kids until they have acquired the skills to support their children at a first-world level as most whites do. It is more fair than insisting that the government take money from whites to subsidize the irresponsibility of blacks.
