Commercial Drive Car Free Festival

This is a Festival created to bring awareness to the problems with the Gateway project in the Greater Vancouver Area. The festival is a total blast of Fun, and there is another coming on July 22nd! YAY!

OMG what a positive city,what a positive festival...this would never happen in Orlando. I wish these people were in my town. My town's just overrun with people who put rims on their cars and drive fast to make up for other shortcomings...and if you're a pedestrian,they gawk and honk at you. I hate my town-it sucks!

I lived in Orlando for a time, and I had difficultly without the community around me. The theme park enterprise has really taken over, and i didn't like how the layout was devoted to cars and golf courses. Maybe you could find someone to try to help create something like this in Florida? See if you can find a burning man crew - they're usully up for it.
