If you apply for a job they usually want you to have A - C, but D is still a pass so you won't have trouble doing courses or whatever.

his mother is so unsupportive

i'd be well pissed if my mum started saying what a 'shame' the grades were...fricken GCSE's are hard and she says that...not exactly a supportive mother especially as she rubs it in his face with what that other kid got.

His mums not enthusiastic enough! She seems more excited about the other lad..

Best Excuse-> "Mum Exam was hard"

Ben's getting some tonight!

Oh shutup woman. He did really well and all you care about is if a fail is a D or not.

is this graveney?
-
@Rockychic747 I'm pretty sure that isn't the case...
Speaking really employers and collage reps looks at A*-C as a pass...
But for GCSE it's D and above and for A Level is E and above (techincally speaking) :)
that woman would get on my nerves. she doesnt sound too happy considering he did really well. im glad my mum and dad just want me to do my best, not like her who doesnt seem too impressed. grrr.
