the judge tells the helper where to run and the handlers are supposed to know where the helper is running to and where to setup the dog...that is a very fast helper and from all of the work i have seen him do its fair and consistent...good work helper
I've read all comments and i don't understand why nobody has mentioned the angle from him to the dog...He is supposed to be running away from the dog, but instead he almost runs away in a 90 degree angle.....That's why so many dogs have trouble with it....I would say, bad helper....Sorry!
my opinion is that you can make a dog or break him end her was for my now respect for lett a dog give a good change to bite end a good grip.
WUSV high level oke but not on this way!
the clips say's enoff, sorry,
this is very bad work from the protectionmen, he did it for all dog's so this is unust, but I find it very onsportive end bad quality this go's to far.
I hope next years they think abouth this
joke before they take there protectionmen for the next WUSV.
I agree the angle that the HANDLER set the dog up at was to the dog's disadvantage. You need to train for/with quick helpers who INTEND to escape instead of allowing for complacent catches on the training field.
As for helper inconsistencies, I expect by the law of averages they were somewhat evenly distributed.
The helper was not consistent! i met another helper there and he even said same thing. The short work helper was going fast then average, then at start he was moving sleeve making it harder(no problem) and then for other dogs the sleeve was stationary. I have footage of this im waiting to get transferred. The helper and judge were rubbish. Im sorry but they were. The long work helper was very good.
poor training does not imply bad dog, bad helper and/or bad judge! train the dog to correctly intercept and restrain the escaping helper and the results will speak for themselves!

if you look at the bsp 09 videos with the same helper - grips are much better - that makes me think the wusv set up has to do with it too
