Think ten times before buying. I bought a new Bergey 10KW in the eighties. $20,000 minus tax credits. Produced $60 electricity in two years. Blew $3,600 inverter (warranty covered it). Very loud/obnoxious. Closest neighbors were 500' away and HATED the noise. Was told I had perfect location but when I complained, Mike Bergey said my location was not ideal. There were five Bergey's in my area. There is only one left. Sold mine for $5,000. Talk to others who have owned one! Absolutely a money pit!

BCB, there should be very little vibration. I would be surprised that Bergey would find this acceptable.

It's not right for sure. Not safe for sure, and needs repaired by the manf. Hope they work with ya. I've always heard good things about Bergey.
