desert storm was the last TRUE war and true combat fighting we did. Iraq and afghanistan is a poltical lawyer/police war. I was in desert storm myself and I had respect for our generals and politicans back then.what we have now is not something to be proud of regarding the idiots running our country.Just look at all the insane ROE's being used and article15's being thrown at soldiers and marines for doing what they would naturally do. Most desert storm soldiers and before would be charged today
