oooh yeah i can agree with that. my uncle's 3500 snapped a tie rod, while towing a toy hauler (means less weight on front). those things are a joke. but yeah i love the i beam, have it on my truck. fords can go through hell and back.

we too are a ford family, and have had few if any problems...cant say that about GM products weve tried, my siters olds cutlass and my total POS grand am. my dads ranger was wrecked 3 times, the 3rd being the worst. he was hit on the pass. side right infront of the rear tire, snapping the leaf spring and pulling the shaft out of the tranny. new leaf spring/driveshaft back in place and it drove!! its durability like that that keeps us a ford family

@waterfordjim chevy has had some of the best resale values.... for forever. a chevy will last you longer than a dodge and just as long as a ford (treatment varying) why would i buy one? cuz we've owned all three, GM ford and dodge, and GM has the least of problems for us. plus i think they just look nicer.
