AIESEC's Career Development Seminar in an annual forum organized by AIESEC in Jordan held every year at Al Yarmouk University in Irbid.
The initiative of CDS started in 2009 under the objective of diminishing the gap between academic and private sectors in order to enable young people to find suitable career opportunities alined to their needs as well as creating a strategic approach for academics development to insure the synergy between supply of talents and the demand in the labor market.
In 2011, the seminar brought together 220 students to discuss career related topics however this time the seminar aimed to activate young people's role and responsibility towards developing themselves regardless of how much external support is available, to achieve that, the seminar agenda was designed to create the first youthful strategy for personal and professional development.
