Look just because Salma Hayek is not the original creator of Ugly Betty doesn't mean she doesn't deserve credit for reintroducing the Ugly Betty concept to the precent, she deserves congratulations, and a job well done!!!

@ycst25 you understand that the U.S. version of Ugly Betty is somewhat like the orginal, but at the same time is has sooo many differences. Salma may not have created the original idea, but she did take the idea and made it different from the original. The basic concept is still there, but if you watch both shows, you'll notice a difference.
