And yes halter is a different disciplne ENTIRELY! But this guy produced ALL around horses no joke, halter showmanship amchines, western pleasures horses which were dreams to ride, english horses with class and jumpers that had it all. So dont be ragging on how this horse looks to you because THIS horse had it all! LIke i said look up heza smokey blue eyes, hes this guys best offerspring and this is what this guy produced. And stallions should be strong not whimpy.
yeah hi there asleighRsexton, this studd is WAY better in person he is NO plow! And search heza smokey blue eyes, yeah THIS stallion here produced that horse and heza smokey blue eyes there has won several buckles and might is ay look how waonderful he moves! Heza d lux produced that! And this horse, may rest in peace he was put down but THIS guy produced top noth paint movers and all natuarl looks as well! That is a REAL tail there too!
He's got a nice head. Other than that he isn't that great looking. I wouldn't breed one of my mares to him, he doesn't have good conformation. He looks more like a plow horse than a show horse or any tother kind of horse, for that matter. But thats just what I think, I'm sure y'all have made some money off of him where ever y'all live. But down here you wont find horses that look like a science expirment gone wrong, that turned it into the equine verson of the Hulk. Lol.
@paintedquartersranch I worship arabians however im interested in paints. I have seen some nice ones but people get condemned for breeding just for color. I feel like most paints however are just party colored quarter horses and not really seperate. Why dont people go back to the roots and use baroque horses and mustang stock which is how paint was introduced to america?
@FernandoTorrera I would have to agree with you; I don't necessarily think that horses should be bred to just look pretty either. I also think that there is a huge difference between the QH and paint industry. I'm in the paint industy and, for the most part, our horses don't look like the terminator. And you're right....there are far worse out there. As for me, I do like him ^, but I wouldn't necessarily breed a mare to him.
@paintedquartersranch Horses should be bred to do some kind of work other than looking pretty. This stallion is just not my cup of tea but I must say I have seen far worse halter horses with downward slopes huge bulging cheecks and muscles that look like a Belgian blue cow. Now that I look at him again I dont find him as chunky becuase ive seen other halter horses that are ashamedly winning.
I don't know why you are comparing him to a working cow horse. Last I checked, not all horses were working cow horses. He was a HALTER horse two completely different disciplines that require two different things.
All that muscle just makes him look dumpy and to what point does all that muscle really serve purpose in competing besides halter? Most working cow horses I see are not this chunky they are leaner. If its just for looks why are you breeding a horse that looks like it might make a good steak like a cow? Besides that he does have a nice face without those bulging cheeks I see in this breed.
love his front leg movement. nice horse!
