Blackstone Model DB 12hp

Vertical diesel Blackstone producing 12hp at 850 rpm. After being in storage for 40 years this is the first run, on a temporary water tank.

The only work done was to clean and flush the engine and put fresh oil in. The injector could do with a service but otherwise she is in excellent condition.

That engine has to be a heavy bugger. It looks like the flywheels are 400 lbs each. Great old engine-- thanks for sharing.
