The Saranac features two contoured seats plus a bench seat perfect for smaller passengers. The bench seat also includes a covered storage compartment, while bow and stern seats incorporate a variety of extras including cup holders, rod holders and storage trays designed to add convenience and versatility to the canoe. We bought the 146XT last summer and it's been an awesome vessel! She's already carried us hundreds of miles from bouncing and scraping over rock on the Shenandoah to the quiet back water creeks of North Carolina. It really is an excellent paddling canoe and the most comfortable one I've ever set in. Tracks well, maneuvers nicely, and is very stable.... I fish from it standing with no issues. Plenty of storage, cup holders, rod holders, etc... Recommended!

My wife & I purchased 1 of this model Saturday Sept 17 at the grand opening of Bass Pro shop in East Peoria IL. I told her she could pick ANY kayak or Canoe in the store for camping and fishing purposes. We are 52 years old and have to lift it above our heads to load on van. After making the salesman lift every boat in the store with her, sitting in on the show floor, and taking up 2 hours of the salesman's time....she chose this 146xt in green. We pick it up next week......will post Oct 2011.
