They shoulda canned that stupid show Touch and put this on. The comic can't stay on the shelves it's so popular just image what a TV series based on it would do.

Fuck. Canceling Pushing Daisies was a travesty, but ditching this show and bringing any number of crap TV shows to Fox is just plain dumb.
The problem is that network television is still tied to the antiquated Nielsen ratings system. It's so ridiculously outdated -- which is why CBS touts CSI as being the most watched show on television. ROFL According to what???
Good shows get cancelled because young people don't show up on the Nielsen system. You can't even show up on the Nielsen system

OK, let's see: Alcatraz, Terra Nova, The River. Not to mention The Playboy Club, Pan Am, Ringer or any of the 1020142455 reality shows. That's right you dumb fucking networks. Pass every season on the truly original series and churn the same shit just to get it cancelled after a few months. That gotta be the most idiotic business strategy in history.

it looks to me like FOX got their "scary" fix with American Horror Story, as opposed to this. All I know is I hope it gets picked up by SOMEONE. (And is that Lily Potter I spot as the mom? score.)

Reality shows are cheap to make which is why they are now taking over,or is it just me? I would much rather see this imaginative world than watch a family whine about their problems...I get that everyday in my own home.
