Well, it's a joke that deals with the subject rape, but it's still in good taste, because the joke isn't just "Dur hur, wouldn't it be funny if someone got raped?"

Louis CK is a true comedian, because he can make light of sensitive topics, unlike some other "comedians".

but she wasn't agreeing with him, she was making an ignorant statement and thought he was talking about how hilarious rape was.

tosh shouldn't have made his joke, but i think anybody would be pissed off if you were talking about how much they hate something and someone screams out "hey shut the fuck up, that thing is terrible". (also, the joke wasn't supposed to be "funny", it was an untactful way of showing how unfunny rape jokes were ) that people took seriously)

Daniel Tosh is a terrible comedian I agree. But when it comes to jokes, nothing is taboo if done right. Look at Jimmy Carr. One of the funniest men alive, and possibly the most offensive.

But that comparison by itself is illogical because women naturally gravitate towards men who are perceived as high-value. And if a man is successful with lots of women he will be perceived as that high-status mate, therefore they will be attracted to him.

They've even done university studies on this and women consistently judged a man more attractive if they believed he was with a partner than if he was single. So your analogy doesn't work, because the pencil would still be considered sharp.
