*This tutorial is intended ONLY for users with a Netgear Router (Unless you know how to add websites to your router's block list)

Step One - Go to http://routerlogin.net

Step Two - Put in your log in info to get into the settings (By default, the User is "admin" and the Password is "password")

Step Three - Go to Block Sites

Step Four - Add these two websites "doubleclick.net" and "googlesyndication.com" (You should not have to add "HTTP://" or "WWW" in the beginning...

Step Five - Click Log Out

And you're finished! :D

  • dad did this to moviestarplanet.... AND I STILL HATE HIM

  • @Popular8100

Hold the reset button on the back of the router until all the lights flash and go away then come back on. Then you need to log into your router with

    User: admin

    Password: password

Once you're in, change the Wireless SSID to the current one you have (the SSID is what your wireless is called), so it doesn't look suspicious.

    Enjoy.

  • lol i was trying to x out your ad for a sec

  • clear and concise.......those adds were really anoying.........thank you.

  • My browser can't open routerlogin(dot)net

  • Awesome, I was looking for that googlesyndication domain... How do I find other domains I don't like?

  • thanks alot, fucking youtube shit ads

  • Its easier to run a hosts file right on the router that blocks ALL the ad servers out there. I get my hosts file from mvps.org and the script loads the file up automatically. It is just like a hosts file on your Windows based PC but doing it at the router is better because then all the workstations on your LAN get the benefit. The file also has most of the parasites and hijack servers as well. I have been doing it for years with great success.

  • Your video was blured for a sec.
