The Pwn Thinks: King of the Nordic Twilight

A CD review! That's a first! A bit different format from my other reviews as well. This is a review of the 1999 power metal album "King of the Nordic Twilight" by Luca Turilli, one of my all time favorite albums. You what would be funny? If some snobby critic came on here and said "This music is childish rubbish for immature simpletons who read far too many RA Salvatore novels!" Or, even better, if some tweenage Jonas Bros./Hannah Montana/ [insert crappy pop band here] fantard started flaming the vid with claims of "tis musik iz ttly gay lol".

BTW, trying out yet another voice here. Let me know if it sucks like the other ones or if it's actually decent. Helpful hint: Never use Garage Band as a voice editing program. Audacity is much better for that purpose.

Legend of Steel is definitely a good song, and Ancient Forest of Elves is in no way bad. I just couldn't really get into either of them like I could a lot of the rest of the album. I would have liked AFoE more if the chorus wasn't repeated 2-3 times every time it came around and if the instrumentals were a little longer (particularly that awesome but all-too-short guitar solo), but as it is, I'll still listen to the song and enjoy it.

Lawls. You think I tore that song a new asshole? Then I recommend you avoid other serious "metal" critics on the web; they tear the whole album a new asshole. Note that I put the word metal in apostrophes; that's because anyone who'd vehemently diss this album clearly is unsuited to critiquing metal, as its awesomeness cannot get into their shit-filled ears.

Seriously, though, calm the fuck down. It's just one song that I don't have AS MUCH love for as all of you.
