the Princess and the Frog ** AUBURN & THE FROG PRINCE ** storyboard movie

After 10 years in the making, I am proud to present to you the storyboard presentation of my original animated version of the Frog Prince. Set in Ireland during the Middle Ages, this tale follows the adventures of the young Princess Auburn and her pet cat as they grow and learn to live in the world around them, while adding in a fairy or witch here and there. The storyboards were drawn out by myself four years ago during high school, and the basic story line pitched in 1999 when I was in 7th grade. During college, there just was never anytime to finish what I had begun. And now in 2008, with Disney's announcement of an animated version of the Frog Prince, I had to present the original animated adaptation of the beloved story. So my friends and I recorded a soundtrack this year, and put together this short slideshow. Mind you, the prince actually isn't a frog...yet, this happens in the middle of the story. And unfortunately the storyboards are unfinished, ending in the middle of the story. Hopefully some day, Auburn and her prince will see animated life - John (remember: I'm not accusing Disney of stealing my idea...just perhaps taking my thunder...although they have money and I don't so I guess that's the difference)

Johnny this is excellent, I take my hand off to this endeavour. The progression of artwork through time is great too. Now i'll have to check out the whole story.
