William Nack (Author) interview at "Secretariat" Premiere at El Capitan Theatre in Hollywood, California USA September 30, 2010 - Interview by Marianna Hewitt
About The Movie: Based on the remarkable true story, "Secretariat" chronicles the spectacular journey of the 1973 Triple Crown winner. Housewife and mother Penny Chenery (Diane Lane) agrees to take over her ailing father's Virginia-based Meadow Stables, despite her lack of horse-racing knowledge. Against all odds, Chenery—with the help of veteran trainer Lucien Laurin (John Malkovich)—manages to navigate the male-dominated business, ultimately fostering the first Triple Crown winner in 25 years and what may be the greatest racehorse of all time. In theaters October 8, 2010.

  • Secretariat may rest in peace . The world will remember his story .

  • I am finishing his book now, What a wonderful story Nack tells. His blow by blow descriptions of the races literally leave you breathless, even when you already know the race outcome!! He leaves out no details and the book reads like a novel. I could hardly put it down. Secretariat was lucky to have a writer like Nack to tell his story!

  • I love him~

he seems to stay true and grounded to the real events and people!
