Part 46: What The Quran Says About The Bible

Many people follow the Holy Bible. Many others follow the Holy Quran.
Are you suppose to follow both?

"God has revealed to you this Scripture, and those whom He blessed with the Previous Scriptures will believe in it...In fact, these Revelations are clear in the chests of those who possess knowledge. Only the Wicked will disregard God's Revelations."
Surah 29:47,49

This is basically the same as the original Part 46.
However, since writing the original version it has come to my attention that saying "Amen" or "Ameen" has very questionable origins.
In fact, saying "Amen" may being paying homage to Amen Ra, a pagan false sun god of ancient Egypt.

"Righteousness is not turning your faces towards the east or the west. Righteous are those who believe in GOD, the Last Day, the angels, the Scripture, and the Prophets..." Surah 2:177

Your Qiblah is the direction to turn in your worship of God.
Is God changing your spiritual direction to the pure worship of Him?

"We thus made you (the Believers) an impartial community, that you may serve as Witnesses among the people. And the Messenger serves as a Witness among you. We (Royal Plural for God) changed the direction of your Qiblah only to distinguish those among you who readily follow the Messenger, from those who would turn back on their heels. Indeed it was a change momentous, except for those guided by GOD. Allah would never put your worship to waste. GOD is Compassionate towards the people, Most Merciful." Surah 2:143 Holy Quran

here is the problems with that argument:

the Bible was already altered BEFORE the Quran. we know this because Allah mentions those alterations in the Quran. even so, He tells us we must follow both the Previous Scriptures and the Quran.

Allah is Omniscient, He would not tell us to do something in the Quran, if later we were not to.

in order to be really following the Quran...we have to follow the Scriptures in this video.

and actually, most of the Bible is true.

also, how can you believe in something and have faith in it, if you know very little about, and do not follow it?

... also, note how Allah commands us not to oppose Michael. however, that is the only mention of Michael in the Quran. how could you know who Michael is without the Bible? how could you know whether you were opposing him or not...if you don't even know who he is?

yes, the Quran is enough...but if you truly follow the Quran, you have to also follow the Bible...because they Quran tells you to. that is part of the complete message...to follow the previous messages.

i quoted the Quran in this video! Allah warns of those who only want to follow part of the Quran. if you do not follow the Scriptures quoting in that video...you are not following all of it.

when Allah refers to only needing the Quran, those Scritpures apply to those given the Quran who think they needed more...the Hadiths. it does not apply to the Bible or it would be a contradiction.

with only the Quran you would know almost nothing about most other Prophets...

as you can see...this video is quotes from the Quran. it is Allah who tells you to believe in the Previous Scriptures...which were already altered before the Quran, since God mentions the alterations. so the argument Muslims use to reject the Bible, even though most of it is true, is null and void because in the very Book (the Quran) that mentions the alterations, we are told to believe in the Previous Scriptures. the Quran then also condemns the Hadiths, explained in Part 50.

@WhereIsTruth Why are the Hadith any different from the Gospels? the Gospels were just oral traditions like Hadith and a few hundred years later it was compiled, just like the Hadith. The Bible says if someone doesn't agree with a priest he shall be killed (much more crap like that in it)! The Qur'an says not to set up priests and scholars as lords.
