1966 Ford Mustang Restoration

Here is a clip of my 66 mustang while under construction. Did a motor swap, headers, T5 manual 5 speed conversion, dual exhaust flowmaster 40's. The car had some rust issues but I think i saved her from being destroyed by cancer. The whole car had a ridiculous mickey mouse paint job when i bought it. It has been a year to get it to this point but I am excited to say she is almost there. Enjoy

nice 6 cylinder. I don't care what anyone says, I like having a 6 cylinder. Have you put a 2 bbl carb on it? If not, I highly recommend it. It improves it so much, both in performance and driveability.

yeah man i saw a couple of your vids a while back... you know a lot of people would have simply given up on a car like that... I am glad you worked through all the rust repair and saved another classic from the crusher ... good work keep me updated on your progress.

Were there any issues swaping fo the T-5? supports bracings and such? Id like to put one in my 6cyl 66 as well (Its a factory 3 speed that somewhere in its life was swaped for a c-4). Nice set up though... theres alot to be said about a well done inline six motor setup... thumbs up...

@sabordobruin1 I recommend a Holley 5200 with an electric choke if you ever end up putting a 2 bbl on it. It smooths out the idle, improves on acceleration, and greatly improves the response.
