British vs French stereotypes - Yougov poll shows we're still chalk and cheese

Only 21 miles or so separate us Brits from those French, but our views of each other are still worlds apart, according to TheMeganeExperiment.com Yougov poll (Thursday 5th August 2010). That's despite France being the top holiday spot for British holidaymakers.

Coming top of the poll, what really niggles us about the French is that they're not very friendly, consider themselves culturally superior and are "bad at war"! While the French think we're terrible at cooking, love and that we eat too much.

And it doesn't stop there. A quarter of Brits think going on strike makes the French happy while they think we're most content watching the footy with mates and banging on about great British historic achievements.

At least one French stereo type is true, the French don't help others , specially in Paris. Is the English arrogant ? i think yes . Is the American fat ? yes ( but the Brit is getting there ) . About the American is so proud of their country . Can you tell me one country where people there are not proud of where they are from ? None of this really matter in real life thought ;)
