  • I wonder if they will ever realize that it's the hosts, not the cars, that make Top Gear... Top Gear.

I'm not even a car guy, really. I just love those three loons.

  • Tanner foust is the #1 Reason to watch the US version. The guys badass.

  • @SergeyVA, i think so too.

  • @BensayandLynnjamin, Thank you, finally someone who's not complaining about the top gear usa, and actually understands that is not going to be as good as top gear uk in its first season, i like top gear usa and i don't see what everybody is complaining about; again, thank you.

  • Top Gear america is RUBBISH compared to the ORIGINAL Top Gear in the UK!

  • @coolsdon In fact, if you trully believe in this "thinking outside the box" as though it is some uniquely British concept, please list me the highest earning movies in Britain in the last 10 years...and lets see exactly how many are produced in Britain by a British film company and how many are American. The reality check is that there are crappy and great British shows, just as there are crappy and great American shows. The difference is that the US market is significantly larger.

  • @coolsdon It is defintely true that for the US television/film the final dollar is the biggest driving factor, but it is not true that it is not the case in British television as well. I think you still live in an immature world where you believe that genralizations especially between two highly developed nations still apply. The media has become extremely internationalized as have films, those acting in the films and so on.

  • @FearOfTheFlesh The US could NEVER in a million yrs have come up with a car show like Top Gear. All US tv and films look the same, everything is done to a formular. There is no originallity or risk taking cos the US tv/film makers are obssesed with ratings and not being sued.I have no idea why you equate having all that money with being able to make the best tv? It's talent not dollars that matter, and 'thinking outside the box' Which is why British is so succesful!

  • @aymthebest did you just call that dude a footballer/// not soccerer! amazing!

  • I personaly think that TG USA will pick up some RPM's and go forward as a good show! History channel though should give it up to a SC or a DC being Discovery or Science!
