A Rant About Disney Whores And a Lack of Decent Shows on Channels Like Nickelodeon

I, too, am disappoint with Disney, Nickelodeon and Cartoon Network. It's ALL teenage girl crap (except Phineas and Ferb, but that show's just...weird). Bring back Ed Edd n Eddy :(

little story, i went into my (i wouldn't say local) game store and i looked at games for the ds, lo and behold, i found disney's victorious, the video game for ds. :O i'm imagining you LPing it and then smashing the ds card with a hammer xP

I agree 100% with you on this rant. The characters are Mary-sue, especially the ANT farm ones. I don't watch it, but my siblings watch these terrible shows. When they stop making shows with Mary-Sues, maybe I won't hate it as much.

@MsSbolin I am a sixteen year old girl and I @#$%ing hate the shows on Disney Channel these days. I don't give a crap about good looks, a shallow romance, or vocal talent. Can't they show cartoons or anime on these networks, not the stupid sitcoms? They only care about appeasing the preppy girls, nobody else.

You know why Disney Channel puts out shows like "Good Luck Charlie?" It's because Disney is one of those companies that promotes motherhood as a woman's only goal in life. They target teenage girls as their audience and air shows like Good Luck Charlie because they want young girls to think that having a baby around is always some fun adventure. And all the "Disney whore" shows? It inadvertently teaches girls that they can only achieve happiness with good looks, vocal talent or a shallow romance

@TheLMan101 Hence why I go on the internet and nostalgia over GOOD shows. Courage the Cowardly Dog was amazing, Ed Edd n Eddy, There was this show called Fillmore or something that was pretty good (ish). BRING BACK MAH CHILDHOOD!!!
