  • I loved Sunday night Disney when I was little. It was always something to look forward to and I miss it.

  • @LovinLifeNow23 It was so exciting. No DVR, DVD or VCR. You had to be there!!!

  • Awesome! That probably lasted right up until...say...1979. I really looked forward to seeing these on Sunday nights when I was a kid. Thanks for posting this. Made my day.

  • @WolfBrat We were very lucky to grow up with these wonderful shows and I am so glad that we can share these moments again on YouTube.

  • This is absolutely Beautiful to see! I just got online, and I thought "What did I watch on TV as a kid on Sunday nights"? The answer was "The Wonderful World of Disney". This was special on Sunday nights at 6 pm. It was just "Wonderful"! If this was on tv again, and if they had reruns of the old shows, I'd be watching it with everyone else! Thanks for posting!!! God Bless! Hey Disney! Start running old Mickey Mouse Cartoons and Real Disney classics like Davy Crockett, Bambi, Dumbo, etc.

  • @Beautifulmusiclistnr Amen to that!

  • There is just to much crap on tv now. This was a great show, but with cable and the Disney channel we will never see this wonderful show again...it's a shame

  • Ahhhh, back in the day when Disney was worth watching. Disney is seriously hurting financially and has been for a long time; why do they REFUSE to listen to what the fans want and refuse to do it Walt's way?! I don't even remember the last time I saw a Mickey Mouse cartoon!

Or adapt the Kingdom Hearts series into a fully animated series, which in fact, I'm doing. In fact, I'm uploading the 18th episode later today, doing so in chronological order of the series from the start to the present. with another KH game coming out later this year, there will be more to add to the 161 episodes I have now, which were created from downloads of videos created by other users, all of whom I'm crediting, along with those involved in creating the series.

In fact, in the near future, I intend to upload the 25 or so episodes I have of the Disney series from the mid-50s through 1980, most of which come from the era when Walt Disney himself hosted the program. I recently downloaded and burned a few episodes that were uploaded by Disneytv4me, though a couple of those are badly out of sync. They are "Where Do the Stories Come From?" and "The Fourth Anniversary Show". I can upload the latter of those in sync, but not both.

  • Why couldn't I have awesome shows such as this when I was younger? I guess I did have the Rugrats and Wild Thorn Berries! But all this Spongebob and crap is just ehhh..

  • @lowfuellevel I agree with you TV is just junk now I remember on Sunday night, we used to watch wild kingdom,Lassie, and Disney before we went to grandma's house we used to watch the wild world of sports, and we also watched Tarzan.

The 70s was the best time to be a kid a lot of fun and great music no rap

  • I bet that 1 dislike is the Irate Gamer.

  • Disney has sadly lost of its magic that has made it great. I don't know if it will ever come back.
