NHL rookie defenceman Adam Larsson of the New Jersey Devils during the pre-game warm-up / practice at ScotiaBank Place in Ottawa on January 2, 2012 (Devils @ Senators 1/2/12). The native of Skellefteå, Sweden (Sverige) was selected 4th overall in the 1st round of the 2011 NHL Entry Draft by the New Jersey Devils. The 6 foot 3 inch defenceman played for Skellefteå AIK in Elitserien from 2007-08 to 2010-11. Larsson became the first 18-year old defenceman to dress for the Devils in the regular season since Scott Niedermayer in the 1991-92 season. Larsson's style of play has been compared to the fellow Swede and star defenceman Nicklas Lidström of the Detroit Red Wings. Pretty impressive!
