Slayer - Aggressive Perfector (live 1983)

I'm pretty sure this is from the Woodstock, Anaheim/LA, CA, July 1, 1983, but I've seen all kinds of contradicting information about the date and club, so I won't say that's definite. Audio bootlegs of this show are sometimes referred to as "Eternal Damnation." This is probably the most famous live version of "Aggressive Perfector" due to Tom's killer intro and the Hanneman/King guitar dueling at the end.

Before you tell me "Oh, I think I know this gig," I have the rest of gig and for sure it is:

- NOT the same show as any '83 footage from the Sountrack to the Apocalypse DVD.
- NOT the gig where they played a lot of earlier NWOBHM-inspired numbers which were never recorded in the studio.

If anyone happens to remember a site with great info about Slayer's early California shows, please let me know. As far as I remember it was a text only page on a tan-colored background, and not a Slayer site, but a page off of some guy's video trading list or something. It gave the most extensive info on their 1983 shows I've ever seen, but I can't find it anymore!

Wasn't Woodstock on 28th March

Yeah, that was the show they played all the unreleased pre-album tracks, but they played the Woodstock multiple times. 

I'm thinking this is the July 1st show at the Woodstock because there was a known Slayer gig on this date at the Woodstock, and at the end Tom mentions their upcoming Aug. 12th show with Witch, which was also at the Woodstock.

Not really strange, it's probably just before he got the Les Paul. There are about 2-3 '83 shows on video I know of where he's playing a flying V, and they're all earlier ones, so he probably got it/used it later in 1983.

There are also some really old Slayer pics where he's got a Gibson Explorer.
