  • 1] what is the fuel consumption in gallons per hour ?

2] how much does that fuel cost per gallon?

3] Is the engine sound so high in the cockpit?!!

  • About 250 to 300 gallons per hour.

it is about USD$4.00 to 5.00 per gallon now.

It is not bad in the cockpit at all.

  • Do you need a GPU for every start?

  • No, you can start with on board power.

  • I wonder how much it would cost to get a rating on one of these jets..

    NIce vid.

  • You might be able to do it in 10 hours of flying... it costs about US$2200.00 per hour, plus the cost to stay there for about one week... and some odds & ends...

  • It is not Russian, it is all Czech. Russians make jet fighters Mig and Suchoi and using L39 for training pilots as well as US army.

  • looks like a very stretched "Skyhawk" to me

  • @justlivemyway Jet A-1 or JP-8 fuel. Those are the only two I would use. It will also run on Jet B but it's not likely used unless you are in a arctic climate such as Northern Siberia or Northern Alaska.

  • Where was this shot?..I'm thinking of buying one.

  • Where was this shot?

  • Jet A fuel. =) sometimes more or less expensive then 100LL depending on the FBO.

  • damn! that saphir starter is louder then i thought it would be.

  • 300 x 5 = $1500/hr

wow!....I can see the plus points of being an air force pilot.

I forgot to ask last time about the Aviation fuel.

What is the grade of fuel it needs ? does it have a very high octane number ?

    Thanks for replying :)
