Reccomend checking this vest out for those looking to find an alternative to carrying a backpack full of tools.

  • Is it waterproof; not that it matters, but just curious. Also where did you buy it from?

  • Well can't go swimming with it! It's got zippers but ya its made of nylon, seems water resisent to me.

    I got it from amazon

  • How would this do for carrying, say, a Gatoraide bottle of pre-mix? On a long ride, the weight of my pack is about equally distributed among gas, Mountain Dew, and tools (when my dad's riding with me, he usually carries the bulk of the tools.)

It looks great for lots of smaller items but I question its effectiveness with big, bulky things. I could be wrong.

  • All depends. In the back there is a bigger pouch in the middle that could hold a bottle of gatoraid. Also, on the sides in both front and back, there are inner zippers that can hold things. Pause at 2:19 , the back not only has a pouch for camel back, in front of that is another one that's big enough for the bottle. Also, check out the left side of the video. Both left and right have big long pouches in the back on both sides of the thing. its a vest, but it goes quite far for a vest

  • anyone beyond what it holds can be supplemented with either a backpack or a box on the bike, for what I've been carrying so far it can hold more than I was comfortable with doing with just a backpack.

  • can i wear this as a back protector??

  • Hm would be great to carry camera stuff as well!I have been trying to find something like that.Nice find

  • nice beard!!

  • Travis Pastrana wore this on the baja 1000

  • lots of reasons. They're more powerful, they look better, they were built to last, they have less moving parts so less to work on.
