Fabio seemed to be having a great time on his trip to Japan enjoying some time at Design Festa. I was really intrigued by the fact that he thinks modern, experimental art is more accepted by Japanese people than Italians. What do you think? Are Japanese people particularly open to this kind of art, or did he just have a unique experience because he was at design festa?

  • That is very cool of you to give these guys some exposure! They are lucky for it. I was wondering though because of the guy before this video with the T-shirts. Do you tell them who you are and your intent with the interview? Great questions by the way. You seem to have the nack for this kind of thing!!!

  • @edtomorrow I tell them all that it's for the internet, but they don't know anything about me. Actually I'm kinda staff with Design Festa, and ultimately these videos are made for Design Festa. In the past I just gave them my footage and then made a mashup video, but this year I decided to post all the videos to my channels. 10 videos from one weekend! Whew - that was a busy weekend. O.o

I really liked these guys art, so happy to give them some exposure if I can. ^_^

  • @strati5 It's twice a year - definitely show your stuff there if you can! They've got a gallery that you can use anytime in Harajuku as well.

I don't know all the details from the artists standpoint, but I definitely think it's worth it - if only for the experience of it all.

Just check out their website. :)

  • @strati5 Thanks for the suggestion. :)

It's always difficult when working solo in this kind of environment to get the right balance. Is it best to hold the camera out and get yourself and the person. To just get the person like this. I guess real interview style says I should hold the camera down to the side and have the person speak to me, but then it's really hard to make sure I keep them in the frame. Haven't found the perfect balance yet, but it's always fun to do. ^_^

  • I don't understand what you two are talking (because of my poor English skill) though, anyway that looked interesting place! ^0^ The picture was creative and awesome. ^-^

  • @ToLokyo Yeah, I dig this guys stuff... So...We're going to see more artists from this show in the future? How do you register and get a spot? HOw much would it cost?
