The Fix 3 (Starsky and Hutch)

This is the third part of the first season episode "The Fix," starring Paul Michael Glaser and David Soul as Detectives Dave Starsky and Ken Hutchinson. In this episode, Hutch is captured and turned into a junkie by his captors so they can get information out of him. It's a great episode. :D

What an incredible acting of Soul and Glaser! It's Unbelievable! "Black Bean Soup" says, David Soul went without sleeping for days and stayed alone while filming, until Glaser and the crew began to worry about him,to make the horrible scenes as real as they are. ... Madman David!! ...I love him ;)

@garystango Thx to the info. I remember seeing an interview where PMG said that at first the Torino didn't have bucket seats, and every time they hit a curve, DS would end up in his lap---lol! they finally convinced producers to put bucket seats in. Notice when you watch, I don't think they ever wore seat belts. Honestly, I don't think anyone did in the '70"s. We used to go on car trips and just roll around in the back of the station wagon.

@stillluvit At first they wanted to do the most of it. But then the left it to the "pros" to break their necks. There is a scene you can see in the Intro of Season 1, when David jumps on a car roof. He himself did the stunt and hurt his back pretty bad in the process. I'm not sure about the car chasings. All I know is, that Paul was a good driver and could do the U-turns. He hated the car, because it's unrealistic color + it was so difficult to handle. He took every opportunity to damage it.
