@caijpp Way to overthink things. :\ If you read too far into it, like you did, then you miss the big picture: that this is a beautiful piece. I realize the importance of analyzing the symbolism but you crossed the line and just kept on going.

I'm not sure about existence of any good piano arrangement...
Take a look at /watch?v=PcUzguOdaR4 - pretty nice!
You may find even more by searching YT for "пловецкие пляски" - this is "Polovtsian Dances" in Russian.
