Kind of hard to see, but this will do for now. Encore Magazine was able to snap a photo of what happens to be your first look at the international teaser poster for Universal Picture's "The Thing" Prequel, which is scheduled for released on April 29th, 2011. But what are your thoughts on the poster? Looks mostly like breaking ice to me. Stay tuned for more.
@guyver11000 Yes, I did "PAIN" attention, smart-ass. I was referring to the short story, 'Who goes there'?
I realize this is a prequel. Get a life.

a reference to the hollowed out ice block in the norwegian camp, which the thing must escape from in this prequel

ok, from what ive gathered so far in waiting years for this movie...if you remember the norwegian post that Mac and Copper fly to in the beginning of the first movie, this film will chronicle the events of the demise of that camp. I wonder if they will think to somehow include the dog being chased with its sights set on the US post. It makes your memory of a great movie so worth it to see that kind of continuity. And i hear they will reuse the theme from john carpenter's film....very exciting

I think that it is the block of ice that the Norwegians dug up and it is starting to thaw out

@pietroerperugino You mean to say that you don't want them to show this movie from the things point of view? In that case I agree with you. Even when I watch the first film the way the story plays out is brilliant. The film stays a complete mystery even though you already know who will eventually turn. I keep watching it for the little details and signatures that someone has been infected.
