It's no secret that the radiation emitted by cellphones and cellular telephone towers is dangerous! In one of my other videos you can clearly see a sign posted, adjacent a tower disguised as a tree, that warns passersby about the hazardous levels of electromagnetic (radio wave) radiation.

I found this tower in this video interesting because on its very top you can see they've installed a wind generator. The guys working at the base of the tower didn't speak English so I wasn't able to find out if the wind generator powered that cellphone tower's equipment or was it simply energy that was sold back to the "grid?" Or, was it simply there for "show" to appease those of us who are afraid of radiation generated by cellphones and their towers??

Either way, I like the idea of wind generators being installed on cellphone towers - it's better than nothing! Of course the best idea would be to eliminate all cellular telephones, and their towers, but that won't happen in my lifetime (unless the 2008-2009 economic meltdown turns into full-blown economic collapse - but that's a whole other video!). So, until we get back to basics we're going to have to live with cellular telephone towers ruining the view (and our health) with an occasional wind generator on top to help offset all the damage.

I have another YouTube video that gives a different view of this same

Oh, this particular tower is located just a kilometre west of the very famous I-70 point of interest - a road cut that exposed all kinds of ancient rock and sediment layers in the Dakota Hogback just a few kilometres west of Denver.

  • That looks like a self sufficient Comm-Tower.

Ya know, there is a Deep Underground Military Base around there.

  • I think the underground military installation you're referring to is Cheyenne Mountain, about 145 kilometres (90 miles) south of where I recorded this video.

  • The different colored lines at 0:05 Do you guys pull spares and not use them at the top untill they are leased?

  • Haha... He is scared of cell phones. "It's no secret that the radiation emitted by cellphones and cellular telephone towers is dangerous!"

But wind is not going to work... So I don't see why he likes the idea to put them on top of the towers. The power they generate fluctuates, making it quite useless.

PS... My cell phone is on my chest right now... Instinct.
