TOPIC: CONFORMITY
I. Overview:
The monologue-based video will revolve around several sub-concepts related to one general topic of conformity. The scene starts off with a young male who enters a coffee shop all by himself early in the morning. Equipped with different perspectives and takes of life, the boy conceptualizes on what he sees within the shop. Looking at the different people who walk in and out, people who go about doing their usual things, he ponders on how his views are different from that of the average person. Throughout his stay, he orders food, and eats. With his heart set on actually applying his own views on life, he thinks out the monologue in his head. After the narration of the several sub-topics and overall topic, he walks out of the store with the dramatic persona of his mind, emphasising his leave with a few final words and one last say on the matter. As he walks out, the scene fades to black and the clip ends.
II. Conformity in General:
Conformity is the general idea of the monologue. As the character sees the monotonous-ness of the cafe before him, he wonders and thinks about how he is quite different from such. A little closed-minded, the character communicates on what his preferences are and how things should have been done. The irony is, his actions seen in the clip become as monotonous as that of a regular person.
III. Relationships of Concepts to Conformity:
a. Education -- Education has become standardized, but what about those who do not have the same thought? In the monologue, the character explains how he finds education as standardized as manufactured plastic.
b. Business -- Business also has become mundane, from the workers to the advertisers, are we all simply fooled endlessly by such abused words and scenarios? Overused advertisements that destroy the world for a very much useless cause is explained also.
c. Relationships -- Relationships have also become normality, even with the creativity with the packaging; the relationship is the same how do we not conform to this reality? How can love be unique, or at the least friendships, or family matters? Do they change?
d. Perspective on Life -- Most people work to survive and simply enjoy life, but the character's view on this is rather different. He explains how life itself is very similar. Although unique, the amount of uniqueness with each life is quite minimal.
shots are good but shaky.. and cam refocuses.. BGM are good too but there is a part of the video that is too trebly.. actors are good.. with the monologue this will be a very nice video! well done! good luck!

@robineellar Thanks, but somehow, I'd have to re-write the whole monologue just to make it fit. XD Hope to be able to do it when I can. XD

the monologue shouldve been simultaneously playing with the vid. or subtitles shouldve been made otherwise. Nonetheless, the video, together with the topic cohered well. keep it up!

@strangerpwee Thanks! I know. The monologue should have been there. XD Sorry, guys, but I hope to edit it sometime in the future and hopefully add the monologue, although it will take some re-writing.
