@tianagray Thanks for your comment! I usually play traditional music with the kantele but of course some diatonic xmas songs can easily be played with thi sfine instrument. Maybe I tape something later...

This is not a jouhikko. The jouhikko is a 4-string instrument which is played with a bow, like a fiddle. The real instrument is in the playlist 'Värttinä and Karelian music' several times.

What he's playing is a kantele, known in the Baltic states as kannel (Estonia) or kohkles (Latvia) or kankles (Lithuania).
