right so i just finished the final mission (obviously saving Shaundi) but then i went to kill Killbane to see the alternate ending but as i got a quarter away there i thought: wtf am i doing? then i imagind my best friends sitting up there awaiting death, so i said: fuck Killbane hes not worth it they need me now and swerved round, jumped into the sea, swam my way there, blasted every one's asses to pieces and saved Shuandi and friends for the second time :)

i just love saints row its everthing u could like in a game funny, u choose how things turn out, customize ur own person gang cars etc., its 1 of my top loved games only thing that sucked was Johnny Gats death cause if u played the 1st and 2nd games then u would understand

At first I went after Killbane because I really hated what Shaundi had become. It only seemed fair to put her out of her misery and anger. But then I realized that Viola and Burt fucking Reynolds were there too. Two out of three isn't bad, is it? Besides I unmasked Killbane, better to let him live in shame.

@Ankai3690 But Shaundi would have gladly died for the Saints, and truly defeating the enemy, the ones responsible for killing Gat and all.

Besides, you save her and you're allready doing it wrong. The intro explains it well. Because when you rescue her, it's over. They're heroes. No more story. When you do it the other way, there's infinitely more shit they can do (As per the star wars style opening) seeing as how they pretty much take steelport as their own, and tell the world.

The protagonist knows that his friends would have died gladly for him to get the true one responsible for everything (killbane and general whatshisface). It's kind of why the story emphasizes on Shaundi never getting over Gat dying. To make a point.
