お召列車 EF5861号機+新一号編成 両毛線(1996年）Imperial train AD1996

The train drove for the Albert II, King of the Belgians & The Emperor of Japan.
ロイヤルエンジン・EF58 61号機と新一号編成の黄金コンビ。
往復一回ずつのカットでボリューム不足なので、
駅で撮影した日章旗つけかえシーンを少し長めに盛り込みました。
作業者の顔が鏡のように映り込む車体の整備状態に驚きです。
最後はおまけで撮影した、東北本線を回送で帰っていく状況です。
暗すぎてまったく判りません。

This is just wonderful as the Class 58 is one of my favourite Japanese locos.

I have two of these for the Imperial train and the Imperial coaching stock and even in N scale they look far more impressive than our so called royal train.

When run on my layout they do look good.

The Class 67's are probably not as well attended to as this electric loco is. Not a spot of dirt or grease anywhere. Even the wheels and tyres are polished.

So you have the Imperial Train whereas we have the Royal Train in the UK the royal train is usually hauled by a pair of dedicated Class67 diesels
