there's a ton of fresh hip hop out now. definitely not mainstream but also not so underground that all they spit about is how the mainstream sucks. J-Live is one of the best emcees ever. PUTS, Giant Panda, check a group called 84 from philly. props to golden era hip hop though, shit will never be the same.
man hip hop isnt completely dead, but its pretty fuckin close. those rappers you said are sick, but u have to admit there underground, and not many people listen to them. so the main stream listeners dont know about the underground shit, and probably will never hear it. so theirs no way hip hop can come back, it would take a mainstream rapper to switch the style up and go oldskool to get it back to where it was, like in this song.but thats never gonna happen.
