Transcendence Tribal - Spoutwood Faerie Festival - Opening

Transcendence Tribal is a bellydance collective featuring dancers from Maryland, Virginia, and Washington, DC. Its dancers include members of Kallisti Tribal, Verve Tribal, Lilam, Troupe 'Hip'Notic, Sammati, and soloist Lyra.

We are all students of American Tribal Style (ATS) bellydance, among other bellydance styles. We all bring our unique flavors to the group. Most of what you see will be improv, though individual pieces may be choreographed from time to time.

This performance was shot at the Spoutwood Faerie Festival on April 30, 2011. The ground was hilly and full of sharp vines, but we were able to share our love of the dance with quite a large audience of onlookers!
