Ideas for Organizing and simplifying

I am Cuckoo! So anyways...is clutter stealing the dream you had for your life?? That was a thought..the vlog is about what I did to organize my boys clothes he will grow into. Very easily accesible and great use of space underneath the crib. I also Simplified the process of making his crib bed by velcro ing the bedskirt to the outside of the crib (I don't use the drop down side). I also decided to only use one side of a bumper pad so I won't have to untie all those little ties back and forth when changing a sheet. Simplify! Yay for silly vlogs about organizing! Thanks for putting up with my cuckooness! :)

What scares me about the risers is the fact that the wheels are still on the crib. Do you think it could "roll" off the risers?

@mcg267 the wheels do lock, so they don't roll..kinda like when a stroller's wheels are locked so I think it will be o.k...:)

You are still inspiring me! I got rid of 4 kitchen bags worth of toys this last weekend. I had my kids help with the sort. I am also going through everything else as I am able. By the end of this year I am going to be in the home that I always wanted. As i am cleaning out I see more stuff that I was keeping and I am like why??? :)

@TheGreenAppleHome ...LOL, Nope, I have 5 kids...all are older now, but in all my 19 years of parenting, I don't know of any "riser rules"...I think you're safe!!! :) I thought it was a totally awesome idea!!! Love your channel!!! I'm trying to get my nerve up to start doing some of my own videos. What is so intimidating about talking to that little red light?? I don't know??? But you are a natural!! Just down to earth real life stuff..and it is way cool!!

I'm really not saying anything negative about the risers, but one does wonder exactly what you were expecting in even showing us...nobody would even know otherwise.

Of course ultimately I give up and say whatever, let it be messy I'll clean it up later, then it's not an everyday tidy, it's days of hard core cleaning. Then my hubby gets mad b/c it's messy, but he doesn't help keep it clean! I'm worn out. I've talked and yelled until I'm blue in the face.

Seriously I feel like I'm taking crazy pills around my house sometimes! I am in the walking through the house and want to kick the walls down phase like everyday. I set up systems and work so hard but it never stays that way. Then I try again, and it's so daunting, knowing that in a day at the most, it will be screwed up again as soon as I'm not right there policing the organization. Unless I watch like a hawk no one follows the simple steps I ask my family to follow. =( Any help?

How do yo get yor hubby to help? How do you get your kids to follow through w/ the organization? I have tried so many things, and usually end up giving up b/c I have to discipline my kids so much it makes me feel like a terrible parent. So, I feel like I am in a clutter plateau, maybe even deficit since christmas. When I try to organize and change things I get a bunch of sighs,eye rolling, grumbling and crying(from hubby too) How can I change things and make it stick and get everyone on board?

lol... none of my kids made it PAST ONE in a crib, I kept the bumper padding for when they tossed and turned... My oldest NEVER had a crib, she went from bassinet to our bed to toddler... I like them knowing they can come to me, instead of panic crying when i dont answer... My son would jump anyhow from everything, there was no point in keeping him locked away. Love your ideas:) Still trying to UNCLUTTER MY HOUSE....
