Alakai doing Henehene Kou Aka

Ulu invited dancers to do this song and I promise, I know it. but he did more verses, I knew only 4 so, you know, I always go to the novelty routine. Sorry ladies, I know you worked hard on your dance, but I was already up there. DUH. On Friday, May 22, 2009 Uluwehi Guerreros Halau Kauluokala had a fundraiser at the Maui Beach Hotel. The Men are traveling to Kauai for the Mokihana Festival this year. Good fun was had by all, and we even got our first copy of his new cd, Na Mele Hula Aloha.

Uluwehi's new CD is sure to win a Na Hoku award. It was marvelous. Check out his video of keiki dancing hula for `Opae E.  Sure to bring tears to your eyes, one of the best hula I hae EVER seen.
