triggered drums don't mean shit and almost every drummer in a decent band uses them. all triggers do is help make the double bass sound more even and clean. The skill is still there.

@jszekerj yeah i agree, the rerecorded stuff has some interesting new parts, but they took out some of the other parts and the clean vocals are different sounding. overall it just sounds overproduced and more sterile. some people dig it, but i can't.
