Bert and Ernie are CGI in one little segment that shows what they dream. The rest of the time, all the Muppets are still just as you remember, Matthatter56. And kids at that time didn't think kids' shows were so bad, because we didn't expect TV to totally entertain us...we turned the TV off and played.
I would hate to be a child in this time because let's be honest childhood shows suck. They are all CGI with digitized music. I mean I passed Sesame Street on TV the other day and I almost died. Bert and Ernie are now CGI no more puppets. Let me state that again Bert and Ernie are CGI. Okay now my childhood is truly dead.
I was simply saying that it sucks that things are all CGI now. I think it is overused. I think a little CGI now and then is great. EX: Terminator 2. But to have everything be CGI is just ridiculous.
Bert and Ernie were my favorites, so sad so see them CGI. I feel bad for the kiddos now, the cartoons that are on TV are so ugly, scary, and repulsive. What happened??
