Stephan Wortmann (me) and the Waldorforchester Kiel performing the 1. Movement of Haydns piano concerto no. 11 in D major in the Lukas church Kiel, Germany.
You can also watch the two over movements.I would be very happy if I could get some feedback soon!

  • Yes, you're right.Unfortunately I was dependent on the orchestra. I wanted to play especially the 3r movement faster, but there was no chance that the orchestra could bring it.I also agree that the cadenza was not relly virtuos, but because it was the first piano concerto for me I didnt't want to make experiments. I hope that I will have the chance to play with an orchestra together as soon as possible!

  • too slow imo

  • Now, I don't know much about string instruments, but I can tell that that orchestra was out of tune. I played this concerto with an orchestra about 6 years ago when I was a sophomore in high school. It sounds to me as if you want to speed up a little because everytime it's just the piano, you go just a hair faster than when the orchestra is playing by itself. I'd like to hear a more--what's the word--glorious cadenza. The cadenza is where you are supposed to shine!! More rubato! Good job, though
