Post-Op Gastric Bypass Update: Swimsuit Edition

Summer is scary for most women because that means SWIMSUITS!! And being post-op presents a whole new host of problems, *cough *cough excess skin. I was on a mission to find a flattering yet CUTE bathing suit for the summer, and boy was I in for a surprise lol.

I love the bathing suit. I'm off to Target this morning in the hope that they have that black and white one in my local store. I love the support feature and shorts too. Just what my wrinkly inner thighs are crying out for.

I wonder if the inner thighs get better with time and exercise or is this it do you think? Sigh, hopefully they tighten up and its not shorts in the pool forever. You look great and I love your energy. You sound as if your going to have a great summer. Hugs, K

@kayesplace I totally know what you mean about hopefully going short-less! lol I'm hoping I won't have to worry about board shorts for the rest of my life. Cool, I'm glad you liked the suit! I forgot to mention all of the really cute one pieces they have too. And Target is pretty affordable so you don't have to pay an arm and a leg like at "plus size" stores that specialize in supportive suits. And they're actually cute! :)

@designsbypatricia Yeah, I never knew that Target was the place to go for suits! lol And they are totally affordable which is great. Are you still pre-op? My heaviest before I started the program my surgeon required was like 265 and I believe I was 250 day of surgery. So we're very similar. Keep me updated on your journey! I just subscribed :)
