MALTA: Qormi San Bastjan - Christmas Strina 2009

We attended the L-Istrina F' Hal Qormi and want to share this video with you.

The "Kummissjoni Zghazagh Bastjanizi organized a beautiful Christmas "Strina" (Gift) event on December 27, 2009 where a Nativity play was performed, the "Socjeta' Filarmonika Pinto, Banda San Sebastjan", gave a beautiful concert under the baton of Mro Roderick Bugeja and Agnes Spiteri was a solo singer. A Nativity Crib was on display and some Maltese Christmas traditional food was sold.

The Nativity play was written and put together by Sebastian Aquilina.

This event was scheduled to take place outside but because of the bad weather, it was held inside the band club's premises.

You're very welcome, John. We were able to try some imbuljuta and roasted chestnuts while there. Jasmine likes roasted chestnuts a lot.

Event was supposed to be held outside but the weather was not the best but it was still a beautiful event.
