White Noise- Don Delillo

This video is what I created for an assignment in my contemporary American literature class in response to reading Don DeLillo's novel White Noise. The many themes of the novel center around the ways in which we have allowed technology, television, and the media to take control of our lives. I selected a quote from the novel and used it as my main theme, as well as using quotes in the novel that come from the every day "White Noise" that we get from the TVs, radios, and magazines. The overload of information we receive, the way we are told to follow a certain lifestyle, this video is a collection of clips that I believe will show the ways in which our lives are being run by white noise today.

Kongratz ... I'm going to read White Noise ... :-) Our modern world I feel, is an amalgam of 'ordicides', can you figure that one out :-)
