@Coldmystery Oh yes i can agree with you on that. It just like Bush Jrs is to blame for going into Iraq in 2003 about WMDs but in fact he relied on Intel from the International Intel that Saddam had WMDs. But it wasn't Bush fault. It was a major error of intel from the International community but Bush got the load of shit for it. So i can understand your point.

@publicmario17 There is rarely ONE person to blame in politics. The problem is people like you want to assign blame to one person thus ignoring the real reasons bad things happen. It's like blaming the quarterback for a loss when the defense let the other team score all the points. It's ludicrous. No matter how much you want to blame it mostly on one person there is a reason we have a 3 branch system... POLITICS failed you as a whole not just Bill Clinton.

@Coldmystery I don't know what's going on at the white house at that time but i only get the information from what i know. While the Senate and the House wanted it, Clinton didn't bother to veto the NAFTA. Only Rich people want it, some don't and some do. For example, i blame Congress and the GOP for passing the "don't ask, don't tell" policy against Clinton's will and i blame Clinton for screwing up Somalia in 1993. You can't deny there is always someone to blame for it.

@publicmario17 You're missing my point. Im not putting the entire blame on anyone. People try to blame democrats or republicans like they are sports teams. Like one side is at fault and the other isn't. NAFTA was gonna get passed in some incarnation. Every rich democrat and republican wanted it so, and there was no stopping it. That's my point. Everyone wanted it. You cant blame only Clinton for signing it, you cant blame only Bush for pushing it.

@Coldmystery Yes it was the Bush Sr idea but when Clinton took part as president, he didn't bother to veto did not denounce it, or anything in that matter, he just happily signs it. Oh and Clinton even persuaded the House and Senate to have a permanent trade status with China in 2000 and was granted at Clinton request. It's like saying we should blame Eisenhower for Vietnamwhen in fact Johnson screwed up the war in the 1st place. So like Johnson was terrible in Vietnam, Clinton was at fault too.

@publicmario17 You do remember that NAFTA was Bush Sr.'s thing right? That the house and senate were really wanting it right? Im not sure what you think Clinton could have done to NAFTA, but I remember it, and it wasn't much. Im not saying yay or nay to either Bush or Clinton but lets call a rock a rock here. This was Bush's thing, the house wanted it, the senate wanted it... what was Clinton really supposed to do?

Clinton is an asshole. I can't believe people still ranked him as the greatest president in U.S. history. Bush isn't no matter but later most of the Clinton era policies retained during Bush presidency cause the 2008 crisis. Bush tax cuts isn't any better either.

Also Clinton made as a debtor nation to China.
